I remember Thrasher would put this out every once in a blue moon: whhich rider has the #1 selling deck across the country? Is it still Hawk? Bam Margera? Just wondering if info like that gets around anymore; I'm sure reps must have some sort of sales pitch to tell ya whats hot and whats not with their distributor. Just curious! |

It would be good to know. I guess nobody in the industry tracks it anymore since the $$ is in shoes now... If I had to bet I would say Jamie Thomas even though he has faded in coverage a little. Who would be #1 deck company? Workshop. My two cents worth |

I think it's got to be Bam.
Maybe we could get a more conclusive answer if this was in the Hot Discussions or Shittalk sections.

DT86--I think that Sixpack meant top selling decks nationwide across all niches of skating, not just with the older guys. I'd be willing to bet that more Element, World, or Blind decks sell each month than are in most of the BDS production runs.
I could be certainly be wrong, but for BDS to have the top selling decks seems almost like a mathematical impossibility.

People I know in the industry say it's Tony Hawk's Model that outsells everything...
by a wide margin.

where I work, the only decks asked for by name are bam's and jamie thomas'.
the other kids ask for brands.
hawk boards just sit around and don't sell...
