I'm helping a neighbor/friend with finding out the TRUE value of this complete setup. He sent me these pictures....
http://www.dumskateboards.com/
Question #1
Would any Powell Peralta Experts out there know the model of this deck without altering the deck in any way?
Question #2
Anyone know which Stage (ex. Stage 3) these Indy's are?
P.S. The Wheels Are Alva's...
Interested in Chris Miller, Neil Blender, Ben Schroeder, Early New Deal & Early Alien Workshop Decks and other products. ex. Stickers, Clothing, Posters, etc...

"I'd rather be shrooming".
Classic.
Though far from any kind of expert on anything, my guess is a Gelfand Tank. |

Dont think its a ripper, I've just sold a red ripper pig, the dragon on the top is gold, this one looks yellow - also the tail looks a little square for the ripper - could be its been reshaped ???
looking at the position of the front truck ( its a lot closer to the nose than rippers, hawks etc.. ) my bet would be on a caballero second model, but i've got most of the powell pig decks, and the shape is pretty much the same for all of them so theres no real way of telling without getting under the paint on the bottom. |

have a look and see if the front truck has an extra set of holes to see if its been remounted at some point - I'm sure the front truck is too close to the nose for it to be a ripper, but you never know - whats the betting its one of those first model hawks with the crap eagle graphics ??? ;0) |

I count 6-plys so it can't be a Ripper, correct me if I am wrong.
What about Mc Gill F-14, this was done with 6 ply also |

The shape of the wheel wells (look round to me) seem right for an F15 or Gelfand (although mine has squarer wells but the brite lite top logo). Nose is too small to be a ray bones snub, and too long to be a 'normal' ray bones. Might be a skull and sword. Should be able to still see a rough outline of the botttom grphic. |

I think you got that backwards limey!
I'd vote for the Cab or Gelfand. It's an 81-ish shape. UK could be onto something with looking for the hint of an edge from the screen underneath. It should stand out a little unless it was sanded. |
