I've got an old Burton Performer. I just got it from a friend of mine, but have no idea on the value. It even came with some old goggles, boots, and the original bindings. I'll post some pics in a few. I have to take them first, if you're interested. |

I believe it is a 1986 Burton Performer Elite (red). Going to take the pics. |

The first time I Snowboarded was in 85 or 86 and the one I rode didn't look anything like the ones in the first post.
Those look a hell of a lot older than '87 to me. |

coolsend insome pictures. I think I seen a couple on ebay right now. Big thing with those is if the bindings are not drilled throught the base. Lots were cause the bindings pulledout og the foam. |

Nice picture. Can you send a shot of the base? I will get some pics of my snowboards in the bucket and get some up soon. Off to the hill work time. |

The bindings are drilled through the base on this particular one, I think. I have to check. Just got it a few days ago. I have an old Rosignal (however you spell it), and Ros. boots to match. However, it does have the sweet "Metallica" personalization though. Priceless in itself. The same guy gave me both snowboards, and a '79 Mongoose. The only thing he has left from his childhood is a black complete Natas deck (Humpston's art) with Indy's, and Alva wheels. He won't give that up yet though. It's in nice shape too. |

Here is a picture of the bottom, definitely drilled through. Here is the matching bag that came with it. It has the back-pack shoulder straps on the bottom.

Damn, I'm in the upper peninsula of Michigan (I look at Canada out my windows) and we haven't got a drop of snow yet. Shit, it's still in the 40's and 50's. |
