Thanks. I'm really digging this new park. Supposedly and even better one already under construction that is expected to be done in the spring—even closer to home and apparently better (fingers crossed for cement coping). |

Sweet, and you got to sample it before the cold winter settles in. |

Newline put some crete coping in Campbell river, on the vert and over vert sections. Because its the deepest part of the park it hasn't been damaged by the bikes.
With all the bikers here(and probably in AL) it may be a good thing they don't have crete in the shallower bowls.
Speaking of crete coping, seen this one yet?http://www.surfingvancouverisland.com/skate/slocan.htm
I hope to get out there in the spring....maybe this fall? |

Found it. That must be 1/2 to 45 mins from Calgary?
I think it maybe time to visit my cousin in Canmore!
Now that I'm off the island I can actually check some of the new ones
and old ones that I haven't been too. |

I just ran up to Canmore this morning. Took me just over 35 minutes after I cleared the city limits. It's 103km.
Airdrie will be about 15 minutes from my house when they complete the ring road in the next couple months. Cochrane is 30 minutes, Strathmore is 20 minutes, Langdon is 15 and Millennium is 20.
Great session today with Buck Toff, Knucklehead, G-Dog and a few other members of the Edmonton contingent. |

Damn, sounds like a skate meca. I'm bummed to have left a hotbed on the island.
Hopefully I can get something built in my neighbourhood or yard and get it going around here. I'm all over a trip out there in the spring....unless I go to Oregon |

Is Millenium still lit 24/7? Any of the others got lights? |

When I have them (next year).
Yes, 24/7. Cochrane got lights installed a couple weeks ago but they aren't turned on yet. |
