never understood the comment made on AoS about the Plan B Nevertrend Mike Carroll until now, but certainly dont recall the one I had back in '92 being a scratch off...
edit: after diggin' around found this info:
This deck coincided with the release of Pat Duffy's first model on Plan B. World did a "scratch and win" type contest, if you bought the Duffy deck and scratched off the bottom World blurb covering the whole bottom of the deck and revealed a winning Duffy graphic, you won a shopping spree at World for yourself and a friend, this one wasn't a winner but is a rare board.
:end of edit:
got one off ePay and noticed it was a little more scuffed than it shoulda been, got curious and started to pull some grip off to see a top graphic...
strangely enough there was Pat Duffy's name...
so... anyone with pics of these scratch offs in their NOS condition, granted I'm doubting anyone left the scratch-shit on considering what was at stake... but now I know |

i had a plan b pat duffy scratch off in 92/93 - underneath was a danny way shotgun slick but the top graphic said pat duffy. |

Interesting! I remember something about that vaguely. I thought it was he printed a Hensley graphic as his first graphic that was a scratch off or something.
Makes me think of the Sanchez Terminator.... scratching the paint off to reveal the slick below.
Probably just a clever way to get rid of some slick skins on older graphcis they had kickn' around the back. |

Rails look a bit straight on that one... Slick sheet applied to popsicle? Fake? Bad eyesight? |
