What we have here are 2 perfectly grilled dogs on grilled buns with relish and mustard. On the side, pretzel sticks and some green olives. Now.....the cherry on this sundae is whats in the glass, coffee milk. Not sure how many here are familiar with it since it's a east coast thing but let me tell you, shit is very good. I just sent some to jacob to try since im pretty sure its not well known out side massachusetts and surrounding states. I actually ordered it in new hampshire once and the lady gave me a glass of milk and a glass of coffee All it is is syrup...like nestles quick except it tastes like...well you know, coffee. Chow time!

I was wondering that too. Those aren't normal looking buns. |

Wow you guys are missing out, if your not kidding. You must only be familiar with rounds sided buns, correct me if im wrong. These buns are the ONLY way to go. How the hell can you grill a round sided bun? and fit it in your mouth for a good bit? What i do is toss the dogs in the frying pan and while they are cooking i lightly butter each side of the bun and when the dog are just about done and the pan is good and hot i toss the buns in the pan and grill each side till golden. Do i need to send you freak-a-zoids some of these buns? |

in quebec there toasting hot dog buns, the rounded ones are called steaming hot dog buns...
whenever you go to a hot dog burget or fry stand you always have to specify whether or not you want youer dogs steamed or toasted...
toasted soooo good! |
