...Something I have seen in many locations, Prefab parks are only skated because there is nothing else (Newport RI, Naragansett), well designed concrete parks attract people (Jamestown, WhiteRock, Groton). A good park is as much a tourist draw as a good restaurant.
related news....Jeff was in the new 7ply recently talking about building a park in Voluntown this summer
how far up 101? i may have to check it out this weekend. |

just west of Rt395 in the dayville community park 395 actually abuts the edge of the baseball diamond and the track/soccer field from 395 going westbound on 101 take the first right and then the first left into the parking lot the skatepark it infront of you |

checked out the park in dayville today. nice little park but i wasnt even there 5 min before a bunch of kids on bikes and razor scooters showed up. but luckily i brought my daughter so we just played at the playground instead. tough being 36 and trying to get back into skating more often. |
