My nephew is getting grief from his baby boomer parents for not buying his own home.
He sent me this.......
1977 - average wage = $8,000
1977- average house =$32,000
2017-average wage = $80,000
2017-average house =$850,000
 ......I feel for him.
Melbourne / Sydney .........inner city , suburban , outer suburban ..blah blah is .........'non realistic and unattainable'......unless you are earning ridiculousness.

your facts are correct - but if you make the effort it is still an obtainable goal - as long as you dont mind being ridden by Corporate Australia... |

Not my facts.....my nephew's freaking out.
My heart bleeds for kids trying to get a foot in.
Things don't udd up like they did for our parents.
I reckon we had a struggle with interest rates.......you reckon?
But this current climate seems impossible.

'corporate dustralia'
M8 I still remember the first time I heard about it. there I was in a room with 15 other blokes and 2 kgs of Mullim madness. pipes were passed (by the left hand side) and a voice thru the purple haze started about Corporate dustralia
The voice said something about how we would all work for Corporate Dustralia one way or the other - I forget the rest as the mushrooms kicked in at that point...
Years later after completing several course with Narcoholics Anonymous, I too worked for... |

mullumbimby mango buds.......
Rotten mango's thrown in as mulch.....the buds were orange and covered in frosting that looked like icing sugar from all the fructose those weeds drank.......ahhhhh...the 80's......good times....triply surfing. |
