Well, this thread is not entire useless. It managed to kill 4 minutes of my life and about 700 billion of my braincells. You can add that into your ditty

Albino fruit tree prunin', string trimmin', time killin', braincell murderin' song writin', Vista usin', one blue one brown eyed, co-joined monkey/ape....even creepier.

I did get that new Echo string trimmer today and it works great. We transplanted some Jasmine as it was intruding into our lillies. Gardening is great for depression (not that I'm depressed)....as opposed to drugs. It's gratifying and the work makes it no problem to get a good nights sleep. We also put some double-gound hardwood mulch in the rose garden. All in all, a very productive week-end.

I didn't see any monkeys.

Don't you have deer Del? The deer around here think Jasmine is the main course on the salad bar.

Get some of that square "string" for the Echo. Lasts a bunch longer.

I bbq'd (not grilled, low and slow) all day. 15 lbs of brisket, 4 racks of baby backs, 12 chicken breasts, some country style ribs....sorry no pix. Most was destined for the freezer for a meal to be named later. Dinner was killer fo sho.

No monkees, apes, albinos, or plums. I talked to my buddy who's a plumber though.

The deer keep the Jasmine in check. That shit grows like a foot a day. We moved it to the purgola in hopes that it will climb and cover the top.

We had pizza last night. And a few beers.

Funny you should mention Purgola (sp?). I'm meeting with a carpenter today.

We have better luck with Vinca (both major and minor)...the tall antlered rats don't seem to like it.

I put some vinca in a planter one year. Now it comes up every year all over the place. Same with portulaca. But both are cool and add a little color. Pergola??? Yeah, that's it.
