I always drained my ramen noodles and added new hot water- that removed like 90% of the grease from the noodles (they are fried believe it or not) and prevented greasy stomache problems. I would then add new hot water and the packet to make soup or use half the packet on the noodles by themselves. I would also add canned vegetables- whatever were the cheapest ones at the store.
One of my wifes friends also had a dried ramen noodle salad recipe that she called trailer trash salad or redneck salad that was actually pretty good- I think it had mayo and veggies and you crumbled the dried ramen noodles directly into the mixture. |
