Haven't posted here in awhile, mostly been lurking, but here are my bikes:
My '78 Triumph Bonneville
My '71 BSA B50mx. It's got lightened rocker arms, oversized valves, battery-less ignition, Mikuni carb, etc. It's a fucking torque monster and unbelievably fun to ride.
My '68 Triumph T25 which at the moment is in pieces getting redone in my spare time.

What is it about the XS650 that makes people want to chop them up? A clean early model XS is a beautiful thing. A reliable Bonneville, just like it was supposed to be.
Occasionally I see a neat modified one, but most are horribly ruined and painful to look at. |
