In my opinion.. The worst fast food is...
Taco John's.. I went to one in Iowa once.. I dunno if the food is really as bad as I remember it, or if the horrendous experience of being in Iowa at the time has clouded my recollection of it... But I remember it as being pretty bad.
Subway... I know it's supposed to be "healthier" for you.. But I'm too fucking grossed out by the half-assedly microwaved "steak" and plastic-like cheese food product to think about how great it is for me. The only thing that place has going for it is the chocolate chip cookies..
Long John Silver's. Seafood + Expedited service = botulism. Guess what the quickest way to serve fish is? Fry the shit outta that sumbitch! Gross gross gross...
A lot of people here slag off Arby's, and I will agree.. I remember when there was a roast beef sandwich fast food chain worth going to.. And that chain was called RAX. I dunno if Rax was all over the US or just in the south, but I used to eat there all the time when I was a kid and it was fucking great. Also, if you were a kid.. Yer soda came in a plastic alligator-shaped cup.
My favorite fast food chains?
1. Taco Bell.. From the decade that I spent as a vegetarian to the present day.. I have never been let down by the Bell.. (except for the Taco Bells here in NYC)
2. Quizno's. They have weird hours, but I like their food.
3. White Castle. Here's a scenario: It's 3AM.. I'm drunk.. I want grease and I want it now.. Tomorrow is also Saturday, so I have a few free hours open to spend on the toilet.. A trip to White Castle is the obvious choice..
4. Sonic. Grilled cheese. Chili cheese coney. Cherry lime slush. Tots. Please and thank you. I am constantly taunted by Sonic commercials here, but the closest one is 125 fucking miles down the Jersey Turnpike.
5. Chick-Fil-A. I miss you. I wish I didn't have to go all the way to Paramus, NJ to eat you. Although I do like taking your paper/foil wrappers and sticking them to my fridge to piss off my roommates (who are also from the south and miss you as much as I do). I would gladly eat an original Chick-Fil-A sandwich with waffle fries at least one meal a day. The McDonald's "southern style" chicken sandwich is but a mere shadow of what you are. |

oh thanks for reminding me how much I fucking hate Quizno's with every ounce of hate in my body. when i think about how much i hate them, i actually have to reroute some of my hate for other things in order to meet the hate levels necessary for hating Quiznos.

my whole band got sick at a Friendly's one time in MA.
undercooked meat i think. |

Taco Bell is a wonderful thing as a vegetarian. I still eat Tostadas almost every time I go there, even though I'm no longer a vegetarian. |

I used to live right behind a Tommy's when I lived in Cali (Tujunga) for a few months in the 80's...... probably the best 420 food on the planet.
As far as McD's, BK, Wendy's, Arby's, etc.,.... all that stuff is pure shit. I'd rather eat Taco Bell instead, but it's only slightly better.
I love KFC, even though I know it's the worst crap on the planet.
If you want a burger, just head for your local dive bar, a bigger, and fresher burger will be your reward.... plus you can have a nice brewski to wash it down with. |

I fucking hate Quizno's for this very simple and very real exchange:
"Hey, can I get the #3 with mayo?"
"it doesn't come with mayo."
"Yeah, I know, but, I'd like some mayo on it."
"But, it doesn't come with mayo."
"Is it impossible for you to put mayo on it?"
"It doesn't come with mayo, sir."
"Are you serious? You can't just slap some mayo on it?"
"it doesn't come like that that."
'"Let me get this straight: I could order the #3, and ask for things to be left off of it, but, to add something is impossible?"
"What?"
"Are you saying that it's impossible to put mayo on a sandwich? Physically fucking impossible?"
"Please leave the store, sir. We won't tolerate that kind of language."
Needless to say, I've yet to eat at a Quizno's, as this exchange happened upon my very first visit. Fuck a whole pile of Quizno's. |

| Echo Quiznos - I have a 3 strike you're out rule...3 stomach problems, bad service, etc. It is possible to have an immediate reject, but Quiznos I gave the 3 strikes on stomach issues alone. Taco Smell has been out for over 10 years, not even tempted. |

After a service/food quality/reprocussions from the second item, I swore I'd never eat @ Taco Hell again back in '87. Truthfully, I can count one one hand the times I've done so since (peer pressure...)
I'd rather go hungry.
In N Out is about the only one I'll give my business to today - & I'm a couple thousand miles away from one right now...
they ALL screwed themselves w/ the under a buck menus - as food costs continue to rise, they'll keep reducing ingredient quality & portion size. You have been forewarned... |
