Am I really the only person that thinks Finndog is Riverbrewer?
Obviously the guy is total n00b with like 11 posts... red flag #1...
coincidentally, account created after Rbrewers last post.
And Rbrewer hasn't posted since.
Flag #2: Weird that Finn seems to know so much about NOS decks,
and has all these industry connections,
plus a REALLY nice, mature wall of NOS decks...
yet, doesn't know how to spot a generic repro, and hasn't been a SNB member before.
Seems so shady, man. I know you didn't try to sell it, hell you posted in Anonymous (Red Flag #3), but you were just testing the waters. I think you were fishing for a sucker. Totally sheisty.
Not fooling anyone... not me anyway.
You already crank em out and sell the painted "Tribute" decks on ebay for a nice profit. As many as you want.
You sold me a white dip w/ black outlines a couple months ago thru here, and I even suggested the inverted look, white on black... but we decided the graphic wouldn't read properly. And it doesn't. It sucks caterpillar asshole. But, It was all good, I was happy to get a Grosso Alice repro for $100... I painted it myself and it looks good. But seeing this thread is so fucking shady I had to chime in.
Sign of the times... people are desperate for money.... but not stupid. People throw their morals out the window at a chance to make a quick buck... if C&D does it, I guess I should too. Whore out my values.
At least be up front about it. Don't be a little chicken shit and create a new account to try and save your "rep". "Oh this guy over at NHS told me if the bolt pattern was like it is, then it has to be legit" Ya... amusing. And he's real quick to admit he's wrong and going to go kick the guys ass who ripped him off. Yeah, go get em. Sheister.
Something tells me we won't hear from Finn/Riverbrewer to clear things up.... and if we do, it might get interesting.
