I'm getting my popcorn ready to watch them go after Kryptonics and their distributor, Dwindle Distribution. Release the hounds!!!
I can see the point with a national brand like Kryptonics....but not a local shop brand with a limited local customer base....kinda like when they went after Kirby |

If you seek profit on someone elses art, its theft. Period—whether it be a small skateshop or a multinational corporation.
Kirby should have known better. And he probably did and gambled it anyway. He was lucky Goon and NHS had a warm spot in their heart for him.
It's a shame Mott did do something original—he's got the talent, obviously. |

Exactly, the main point is " Hey they did it so I will to....." No different than what Jeremy Scott did. Im sure Mott is a very fine artist and would like to see what he comes up in the future. People just need to learn to not steal SC art and it's all good. Why not do your own thing....... |

They have to. If you don't protect your brand, it becomes worthless—that goes for all companies.
NHS has a lot of mouths to feed. And they have every right to protect their brand and its art and its artists.

I saw these online too, crazy..... just open our catalog, copy and paste then box up for Walmart! Kryptos were my first wheel ever, on my Jammer.....shame to see where dwindle has taken it...... |

Dwindle just has the wheel rights and is definitely coming correct with those.
The deck business split off in the early 80's and had been straight toy store since then.
Separate trademarks, no affiliation in like 30 years. |

Dwindle has the distribution of the decks (and likely the manufacturing via Chop Chop Woodshop). It's apparently someone else that has the wheels from what gogomouse told me. |

I think you may be wrong as they are also selling other dwindle brands at cut ass pricing to Walmart, Blind , Dark Star etc...all coming out the same factories. |
