I'll organize a skate session for all of us in the spring. We should meet up. I've got THE skatespot. It's an abandoned 70's park called Magic in the philly suburbs. It has some cool snakeruns and a nice pool. Best of all it's free. Once we thrash that place we can take the hour drive to JFK. It would be a blast to get together with everyone and the beer is on me!!!!

The Lancaster park is terrible! Maybe because I live here, and see it every other day. It really does blow. The transistions are some of the worst in existence, and it's in the one of the worst sections of town. What's more, it's being overrun by 40 ounce swilling gangstas. Bad news. |

Never Skated Lancaster but have seen pictures. Full pipe and deep pool like bowls right. The Pool at magic is tight but the transition is awsome. The coping is long gone. The snake runs are cheesy but fun nonetheless more like bank riding. For surf style skating you can't beat it. I've got pics of the park if anyone wants some email me and I'll send them over. I took them in the fall. I bagged work and drove over. I had the whole place to myself all day. I'd post a few here if someone can instruct me on how to do it. |
