I use www.totalchoicehosting.com its like $4 a month for the minimal plan. Its good for a small company that doesnt get too much traffic. Cheap and effective and it comes with alot of add-ons like guestbooks, forums, chats, unlimited email addys....

I just attempted to burn an image into my screen but it didnt work too well. I printed it on computer paper and put oil on it to make it translucent worked fine but transparency would have been better, I'll use one next time. I think my light was too close and I exposed it for too long along with poor contact.(im such a newbie) When I went to wash the image out only the outer parts of the image washed out. I tried alot of scrubing but that shit was cooked. I assume it got to hot from the light and it was too close. I put a fan on it but I think I was too late. I'm "reclaiming" the screen right now, hopefully I can save it. I've been scrubbing it for like 20 min tryin to get the emulsion out of the middle! Slowly but surely.
Anyway, its cool and I'll have to keep makin mistakes until I get it right. I find it fun rather than annoying like most things that take alot of work.
Plans for test #2:
Transparency
Less exposure
Glass for contact(screw tape)
Keep fan on for whole exposure
Smoke less cigs throughout the process |

what kind of light are you using, and buy emulsion remover...it saves the scrubbing. also might sneak out to a car wash to blast out the remainder of what does not come out...
keep trying |

Im using a 150w clear bulb. It was about a foot from my screen for about 45min. I was pretty unprepared but I should do alright in round 2 today. Emulsion remover came with my kit, and it worked for the most part but there was this circle of emulsion that had been supercured by my light.
Thanks for your help Steve, I'll let you know how round 2 goes. |

A good cheap method for burning screens: Go to Menards, Home Depot or whatever supply store you have and but a lighting box.. They usually come 24"x24" with 4 flourecent lights in it... I think I baught mine for about 25-30 bucks, works hella good and takes about 10 min. to burn a screen..
Need some help posting pics here.. I'll get some up of my printing opperation if anyone wants em |

sweet thanks for the tip.
To put an image up the image needs to be hosted online somehwhere. Once the image is uploaded to a website it has its own url. Right click and go to properties to get an images url. then copy the url come to the forum, hit the IMG button paste the link and hit them IMG button again.
I can host the images on my site of you want. email them to me. You can also use imageshack or photobucket for hosting. |

I just burned a new image and it turned out perfect! I now know it takes about 25min with my setup to burn the image.
This time I used a sheet of glass I found behind my house at a body shop $$$ I set my fan up in a better position too. I also printed the image on two sheet of transparency paper and taped them together.
I've gathered so much info since I first joined this forum and its all has helped so much.
Slob, if you read this, thanks for providing such a rad forum. Thanks to everyone else who has contributed info to this section.
