I find this the best course of action but you have to announce it:
"Okay, creeps! You got two choices. You can be a slalom cone or a bowling pin. You choose, I'm dropping in."
After this sort of announcement is made, most of the smart ones get out of the way but there is always some smart-ass who wants to make a name for himself who scoffs and refuses to budge. That's when you give them a fly-by at top speed just close enough for them to feel the turbulence. If that does not work it's at that point I have an accident and my board goes rocketing out from underneath me right into the offender's shin or ankle. |

| The worst is not only the fact that they snake you and ride it like its a 1/2 pipe...the worst is when they bail, get back on and begin to push for another run, just going back and forth. Ticks me off...not only have u snaked me, u bailed, and u proceed to take another and push. |

I understand whart you guys mean about being mature and explaining this to kids but with cocky little sh*ts like this it just wouldnt work. They are reckless little beeyatches and must be fought like a plague.
As far as the nice kids at the park, I always let them drop in first and try to be really cool and let them learn to ride the bowl. But what I am talking about are literally little f*cking punks just taking over the bowl like they own it and doing all sorts of reckless stuff while getting in peoples way and shopwing NO regard for anyone else. |

last weekend i had the pleasure of going to a park that has the UK's largest vert ramp. now im no pro on vert, but i wanted to ride it, so i padded up and went to the top ready to drop in. at the bottom there were at least 5-9 kids just rolling in the flat doing nothing, i asked politely if they could allow me to use the ramp for its proper use and i was told"its not just your ramp!!" i explained there was loads of flat in the park and they should go skate that before their mummy and daddy has to take them home bleeding. these kids just don't have any skate etiquette now!

| First post, and it had to be on this thread. It seems that shiot happens everywhere, usually a large contingent of old guys flying around and cutting really close or cutting off their line with a nice grind chases them out. And why the hell do they skate bowls like they're ramps? |

What about when they intentionally or accidentally shoot their boards into the bowl and then just look at it.  |

| Good question newbie. They're learning though. I've noticed some change, and like Phishy said, it's up to us to educate them on ettiquette. A number of kids last summer were really getting the hang of carving -- it was a good sign. |
