| ground elk makes super taco meat, like ground taco, since its so lean, you dont have to drain the fat..... super yummy.... i prefer it over meat markert beef. |

X2^^^^. I dropped an elk in NM a few years back. I had to get creative to find ways of making that stuff disappear. Those are some big MOFOs.
Just saw on the news yesterday that some bow hunter sitting in a tree-stand here in MI had an unpleasant visit from 2 cubs and a momma black bear. He only came out 1 calf muscle lighter though. Probably dropped a healthy shit in his pants too. |

black bears are no joke. more deadly than friggen grizzlies!
learned about all that REAL quick growin up in Yosemite.. dumb interested kids are pretty easy prey. |

| We've got a lot here, most are pretty small, but we get the occasional 7-800 pounder. Back when we had a dump, tourists would try to hand feed the bears. They succeeded. Many managed to feed the hands to the bears. I've even played with babies (no mother and in captivity), but after about 50 lbs., they can already fuck you up. |
