Whats the most you spent on a deck
its ok man,
friends and family all look at me like I'm crazy all the time too...
they dont get it.
not many do.
be careful, lots on here will tell you it starts with one $500 purchase.
first one is tough... (it was for me)
next thing I know I am shelling out 5 and 600 bucks like I'm buying cigarettes.
biggest plunge on a single deck was just a hair under $3,000.00
i look at it this way.
this is my money/ my investment
I honestly choose not to put $$ in a bank where I cant enjoy it
I'd rather put it into things that I can enjoy.
I basically have my savings account hanging on my wall.
extra $$ I have I tend put into cool band decks.
most of which hang and increase in value
(so I am gaining interest somewhat)
and some of which probably arent worth what I paid
(but i wanted them so that doesnt fucking matter)
Im not planning on selling off the lot,
but I could... and I would get all of my money back and then some so there really isnt anything to worry about till then.
show your chick the bigger picture and she will calm down like mine has... finally.

I just took the plunge in to the blue chip area...$1400.00...but there are lots of real good decks that should appreciate nice in the $300 to 500.00 range...the addiction is half the fun i guess |

Well, I spent a little more again. My new high board was a Vision Jinx Mini for $250. You guys are a bad influence. I'm going to keep creeping up a little at a time and before I know it will be spending $6000 for decks like it is nothing.

My spending just increased last week to $350, Im just glad I collect decks that tend to be few and far between (Death box). On average about 2 close to NOS turn up on ebay each year. Im thinking of starting Zorlac Metallicas now as it gets boring when its such a slow "waiting game"?! |

most i ever spent on a deck was 1500. it had a sentimental value to it as well as being a valuable deck. it used to belong to my best friend back in 1987. about 10 years ago he sold off his collection and about 17 years ago my collection was lost. so to get this deck that used to be his was almost like having one of my own decks back. after all, he wound up living at my house mostly through high school so our collections were always hanging together. |
