Hey Nick.
Yeah, I'm A columbus Boy. At least for the last 11 years. I've decided I'm going with Eastbilt. I got samples from them and skateboardprinting. They both came quick and were both nice dudes. I jus tlike the Eastbilt wood better. It's stiffer, has more concave (for the deep concave style) and has a better kick tail/nose. I've been riding it for a month and it's held up nice. Skateboard Printing.com sent me their deck. It's also a pretty nice deck. Good concave. The one thing that turned me away was the tail and nose were a llittle on the flat side. Not quite what I'm looking for. The wood is good though. Pretty stiff. And they're nice to work with. Very professional. Both are good board manufacturers that do small runs for the small guy. I'd recommend either. Which is your fancy???

Yeah. I've been riding my uncut for over a month. I've shaped a handfull for buddies w/ custom shapes too. Everyone loves them. They're strong, great concave and good pop. I'll continue to use eastbilt. Sambo is cool. I ordered them on Tuesday, and they showed up on my door on Friday. Now that's Service. I ordered a bulk shipment of them and have been shaping them for friends. It's fun doing the custom shapes. Get's a lot of eye's turning too. The shops around here in OH are going to take some as soon as I get multiple decks made that aren't already going to friends. Sweet. It's a blast

Anyone see this: http://www.blankdecks.com ? Their bulk order prices are pretty decent. I don't know how the wood is. Anyone try them? Some of their styles sound interesting (ultra steep concave, super concave). It's wierd how they price them though. Some blank decks are more expensive than others, just due to the mold. I dunno, maybe they sell more so they jacked up the price on those a bit. Lemme know if anyone tries them.

Just thought I'd give you the heads up about Skateboardprinting.com.

I was quoted a price at the very beginning of Feb. at the beginning of the whole Template Situation at AOS and got the process going after the quote. I've been doing my best (emails once a week or once every two weeks maximum) over the last 3 months to maintain contact and after the run around for over 3 months, during that time my order should of been started they just instantly quit responding to my emails and didn't even start on my order at all. I'd like to state that I wasn't emailing in a excessive way at all. They couldn't even respond back to let me know if they were going to still finish my order.(And I asked very polite and professionally) I just wanted to let you guys know how I was treated when It comes to Skateboardprinting.com. I Wouldn't recommend them personally, but they have now put me in a situation where I can't go elsewhere and recieve my order in time. I REALLY needed a run of boards made for this reunion I'm throwing on the 4th of July, but I can't even get a professional response back from them at all. They even know I bought web space (not needed now and a waste of my money) for this particular run of boards that they said they would do. So far it's been actually almost 3.5 months since we started to talk and they didn't even start on my order. I'm hoping they can finish my boards and have them shipped to me by the 2nd of July, (Then I can eat my words) or atleast respond back to me via emails. I'm actually thinking of going to Watson and just not having them by the time I'd wanted originally. I never been treated like this before when it came to purchasing something. After all this BS, I emailed Watson Laminates and got a response with a deadline my order can be done with a whole list of ?'s I had within 24 hours. I'm tormented if I should go through the order if I do get a response, or just bite the bullet and get more decks done by Watson. IF Watson is anything like they are in the email they sent me,I might have to do their min. of 100 decks unlike Skateboardprinting, com min. of 25. This sucks for real, just thought I'd let you guys know whats going on. Enough of me rambling and repeating myself...
P.S. I saved all my emails with dates to prove my above post. lol
P.S.A. Hopefully soon I'll start doing boards on my own..

Buyer Beware...

EDIT = Thanks for all the info on Pennswood and South Central...
