Now you are starting to see why I don't do them like that anymore....
seriously though, figure out how to clean your gun. Ask the place you bought it for preferred care instructions. geez

Cleaning guns is a daily chore for me (3-5 times a day)... I paint cars and use all kinds of shitty chemicals and wear neoprene gloves and a resparator.

If you used water based acrylic, use Simple Green and water.

If you used enamel, use laquer thinner (or paint thinner/mineral spirits, but not acetone, it evaporates too quickly).

Disassemble the needle/spring, cup, end cap and inner tip and scrub the shit out of the body as you soak the other parts and clean the other parts with a gun cleaning kit (same place you bought the gun) that has all kinds of brushes and wires to clean with.

It may seem like a pain in the ass, but if you get on it right after you are done spraying (like you should) while the paint is drying, it becomes habitual and should only take you 5 minutes on a regular basis. It sucks, but don't let that stop you from shooting something.

If you let it sit in the gun, you can kiss a quality tool goodbye. My Sata Jet NR2000 HVLP is a $530 unit, so leaving it over night or even for an hour without cleaning it after use is out of the question. If you take care of your tools, they will do good work!
