Finally skated them on the mini ramp. They're definitely slower...and now they're in my head bad. Not landing anything. They are just too small for me. They kick ass on concrete though.

Didn't Spitfire do the same exact thing a few years back? Made some slide-able soft wheels in 54-58mm sizes? I believe they were called Chargers...
(Googling..) My bad: they were called "Trippers", 92a 56mm, or Soft D's in 52mm/92a.
These have been out for some time, so I'm not sure I'm buying into this whole "George invented ____" line of catcrap.
Santa Cruz made street wheels all through the '80s in 92a (OJ II Streets, Bullets...)
It's not new. |

Definitely fast and slidable, but not as grippy on concrete transition/vert as I was hoping. Slid out several times. Back to SPF |

Ok, gave them another try and now that I've worn the base layer off, they grip better and I'm way more comfortable skating them. They are definitely fast and it is nice to have a softer wheel at my age. |

I just gambled on a set of 56s... had to resort to eBay as no shops seem to have the larger size. Will report back after I give 'em a whirl! |

Was riding my bike thru the local skatepark and back home. I always hit the quarter pipes on my basket cruiser. Today as I went up the quarter pipe I slid out on flat before I even hit the tranny. Got up and immediately told the skaters watching that my tires were the new dragon formula and rode off.

Far to expensive to even consider trying them in the UK at £60 a set. |
