If I can stretch "punk" to include the Minutemen, then D. Boon was the man. Of course I was more influenced by his political message than his guitar playing (same can be said of the clash) but now days when I listed to Double Nickels I hear some crazy guitar shit that I still couldn't play after 20 years of playing. |
