i've tried really super hard to like this album but i can't.it sucks.a few ggod songs but not much else/what the fuck is tims deal with that "skinhead rob" dude?the transplants sucked and then he fucks up a decent song(red hot moon).at this point i'd rather just hear lars and the bastards.
as far as sellouts,its like good clean fun said"you're only punk once,so you better do it right".

el yori -let's change the tide of this thread to a band that you should know about.
Granted we are scum punkers from LA, we still know what is hot in your scene.
The band Los Muertos De Cristo - this band totally kicks ass!
You can find them on CD at the better hardcore Punk record shops. All the words are in Spanish, yet who cares. they have a live double CD set which is the one we recommend! |

Gus, we're usually on the same page with the "punk" thing; either the album is good or it isn't. I dont care what label its on, who produced it, what brand guitars they play, if they have sponsors, what tour they are on....gimme a break. The ever-growing laundry list of "what not to do to stay punk" has gotten real old in my book....it's more of that Maximum Rock N Roll mentality that I bitched about in another thread. Enough already.
After a few more listens, the new album isn't that great. Let's Go is better. I'll spend money elsewhere. End of story. |
