Oh no, I got it.
It was just too easy. That's why I ignored it earlier.
The only way that joke could have set itself up anymore was if the word 'spooge' was typed in there somewhere. |

Every time we make BLATs I end up passing out on the couch from overeating.
I like to add a few slices of fresh avocado and red onion, that is big time for me.

You're welcome.
thanks for the suggestions, I will give it a shot, I really like the sounds of the goat cheese and sourdough.
rightfootforward,
Thank you for suggesting the red onoin. That takes the B.L.T. right into the danger zone..I'l have to try avocado too.
BLT = Powerful Good!  |

You are welcome skatekrazed, this place is good for dishing out some good recomendations in the food department.
I had one for lunch after reading this post again.
I didn't have any avacado but I did slice a habenero in two and fried it up with my bacon.
I have to say it was really good, a bit too warm but the flavor was there.. I think I will use one half next time instead of two. |

I love them, I could eat one every day.
Even better with the addition of deli turkey. |

I agree Slob, that turkey would take the BLT into hyperspace.I imagine if you put all those together on a BLT(turkey, red onion, avocado)that would be pretty damn close to perfect. .All you need is a pickle and some chips and something to drink.
haiko(?) to the BLT:
BLT your so simple, almost to the point of being laughable.Seperate your parts and what do you have?A piece of bread .A tomato. Some lettuce.Bacon, side player to eggs and hashbrowns, sometimes even forgotten in that venue .Mayo? .
Put them all together and their like the Beatles.Leave one out and it's just not the same. This is for you BLT,simple yet timeless. |
