2 oz decent pot, 4 cups vegetable oil, let simmer for 8hrs or so, strain the pot from the oil, make brownies with the oil. |

Get a pork shoulder that is just small enough to fit in your crock pot, cover with your favorite BBQ Sauce, Turn on low and leave for 4-6 hours...stir/break up pork with a wooden spoon as it softens. once it breaks down to sloppy joe consistency (6-8 hours in my crockpot) serve on buns with a mustard coleslaw
note=I made roughly 4 gallons of BBQ sauce this summer with the extra tomato's I had from my garden that I couldn't eat...my freezer is stuffed |

Swiss Steak
[1]1lb.(or a tad over) round steak-cut into serving size pieces.
[2]cut up a whole white onion(cut in half then chop each half up evenly)
[3]2-3 stalks celery cut up(also chop up the leafy parts of the celery)
[4]large can(14.5 oz or whatever size)stewed tomatoes+8 oz. can of tomato sauce
[5]salt and pepper(however much you like to add)
[6]put all that in the crockpot and cook on low 8-10 hours.
[7]serve over rice(preferred) or other pasta such as egg noodles.
side dishes that go good:mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, dinner rolls or white bread.
Corned Beef and Cabbage
[1]size of corned beef depends on size of your crockpot.
[2]rinse off the icky jelly if it has that on it.
[3]put the corned beef into the crock pot.
[4]add beefstock or beef boullion(whichever you have or prefer)until it has covered the meat completely in the crockpot.
[5]cut up about 1/2 white onion to go with the meat..the other 1/2 will go into the cabbage.
[6]seasoning that typically is included w/ the corned beef package( but not all will be used/or as you prefer)table spoon mustard seed, teaspoon of black pepper corns,1 small bayleaf(crushed)..couple pinches of thyme and oregano.
[7]cook on low for 8-10 hours.
[8]after meat is done, take out the meat and set on plate...take the leftover juice in the crockpot and add it to 5qt. dutch oven for stove top preperation of cabbage.
[9]cut the other 1/2 of the onion that was left into smaller sizes and add to dutch oven.
[10]take a head of cabbage and cut it until you can get most of it into the dutch oven and cook it with those juices until it "seems done" then after thats done you may wish to put the meat in there with the cabbage to re-heat it if the meat has cooled off a bit.
all thats left is to eat and enjoy! |

Cut up some beef... slice, chop or whatever to a yellow onion, add some worcestershire sauce, white&black pepper, salt, 3 cloves of garlic(whole), cup of vino(yes red) or a beer, 1 strip of bacon and let it cook for a while.
After a few hours put in some carrots, potatoes, cauliflower and what ever else you might like(the more veggies you put in the less MANLY it gets so don't be a friggin homo, make a salad if you have to have that stuff!)
cook it another hour or so, on low heat and then eat that shit up.
It is best served with a side of corn bread. |

Drunk, bored and ornery can sometimes push me to a strange sense of humor. I'm not even sure what clever joke I thought I was making up there, but suffice it to say that it makes very little sense to me at this point and I apologize not only for the crudity but also the unfunniness. I don't know what the fuck I was thinking. |
