Anyone have any opinions of the place? Thinking of trying it soon, want to know if its worth my hard earned money. |

One opened here. Why, I don't know. American beef just doesn't cut it for me so I won't go there. |

My main beef (no pun intended) with Ruth's Chris is that their "Prime Rib" is not cooked as a Roast and carved, it is cooked as a Steak, i.e. it's a Prime Grade Ribeye. It's hard to get a rare Piece of prime rib when it's sauteed... |

Been there once and the service was outstanding. I ordered the 2 petit filets and each is topped with shrimp in garlic sauce. I believe that they oven bake their steaks so it has a different feel but my meal was really good. The only thing that I don't like is that everything is seperate so I ended up paying like $5 for a plate of steamed broccoli which probably cost them about $0.30 to make. For two of us, the bill was just over $80 and I only had one $5 beer. It's definitely worth checking out but it's not a place that I'd frequent. I bought four bacon wrapped filets for about $20 last week from my local meat house and, in all honesty, they were some of the best pieces of meat I've ever eaten for 1/8 of the restaurant price. |

they have an $80 for 2 ppl deal going now - they broil their steaks @ a bazillion degrees - you can ask the kitchen to hold the garlic butter - good piece of meat for a special occaision kind of night... |

I like Ruth's, but if given my choice of fancy pants chain steakhouses, I'd go to a Morton's. |
