I've been thinking the same thing.
Will steel conform to a bowl shape? |

I am not trying to put steel on a this mini ramp.
Masonite?
Or just a fresh 3/4" new ply. |

Shall we assume that should read 3/8"? I'd hate to see you try to flex a 3/4" thick sheet into transition
BITD, if you were already running at least a half inch layer (or prefereably 3/4" to 1"), it's usually sufficient (and more cost effective) to lay down a single 1/4" ACX layer, and just keep replacing that one layer, if need be.
As far as masonite, make sure you buy the tempered masonite, as the untempered stuff will just fluff away.
Exposure is always going to be the determining factor. If you're in the wets, I'd say 1/4" ACX with a boatload of Water Seal, otherwise Masonite should last you a coulpe seasons. |

Not the corners. But you could do the flat and face walls. |

I agree. Metal is the best surface anywhere where it rains. Masonite will be trashed in 6 months. Metal goes down once and yer done. Plus you will have more consistent speed because wood absorbs moisture, moisture make the ramp soft and slow. Good God man cant you see metal is the only way to go? |

Masonite for sure. Friend has had his mini-ramp for four years now and theres no problem. Also, I don't see any difference between it and skate light |
