Good places to get blank decks.

*Pennswood* I have my own local company here in Cincinnati and Pennswood manufactures and screens my decks. Yes, Pennswood, even after they burnt down. They have a new workshop and are up and running. Although the turn around time isn't too great (there was some mix up at thier shop). It should be no problem ordering blanks though.

*South Central* is a good company too. Another local company uses them and they are well respected and nobody ever complains about thier strength. I had one an the only thing i had trouble with was distinguising the tail from the nose. They are very similar.

Anyone else know of a good place to get good blanks from? I read a lot of negative feedback about most of the others such as eastbilt, skatepeige, and select.

i have skated alot of pennswood boards they arnt bad they do chip alot i mean alot i have never seen boards chip so bad but besides that they arent that bad. i would get some again because they are cool to deal with. I made the mistake of going with skatepaige again and again i paid the price, the boards uncuts came with the holes totally drilled crooked so now when i cut the board where the nose and the tail start will be at an angle, not only this the board looks like it was glued together by a blind the person the plys were so crooked i mean bad like over and inch and a half. It was also lumpy on the bottom i dont know how this happened but man.
it is almost better dealing with a company that has people that skate like penns wood for over all quality.

Two things, no.1 woodchuck laminates, http://www.woodchucklaminates.com deals in any number of boards, they just have a 100 board minimun when they screen the boards for you. Second, I dont know what all the bitching about skatepaige is about, their decks are nice, my company uses them, everybody who has skated one loved it. They are not weak.

I'm riding an eastbilt deep concave board right now, and am loving it. It's stiff, doesn't chip, and has great concave. http://www.eastbilt.com . Also might want to try http://www.skateboardprinting.com . Anyone deal with them yet? 25 deck Minimum. $15/deck. Pretty cheap. I'm going to get a sample from them this week and se ehow it holds up. I'll let you know what I think. But as for eastbilt. I am loving their boards. and people who hav ridden my deck says it feels good to them too. I'm not sure why people here aren't linking them.

The only reason i am not feeling eastbilt is because I believe it is Kind of unprofessional.
Reasons why I think this:
1. The guys name on his email account is "Sambo McNutt". I don't believe its a real name.

2. Returning emails seem to be a problem for him, I have been trying to get some stickers and things from him for months now but we can't settle the deal without him confirming prices and specs.

If he doesn't return a simple email, who is to say he will come through with $1000 in decks? Its just my opinion and thoughts. I would still like to try thier stuff out though.

I bought a sample uncut off eastbilt for $14. Ordered it on Friday, and got it on Tuesday. Super quick. I payed using paypal. I am liking the boards a lot. I'm going to try a sample from http://www.skateboardprinting.com also, and see who's got the better boards. I'll let you know.
