I don't have an attic but my bro Vance does. Welcome to the Starlight Lounge.
One side is about 2 feet high and the other about 2.5 with a slightly tighter tranny (poolish even). It's not quite done yet, it still needs another layer of quarter inch ply and a bigger peice of coping on the tighty side but it's skateable. The guy who built this thing has 6 kids a wife and exchange student in his house. The wife wasn't too crazy about the idea at first but all of the male kids skate it and stay out of her hair so she's into it now but totally wasn't when he originally suggested that it be installed in the dinning room ( the house is a huge old church hall with like 16 foot ceilings). But the attic worked out well it still has a pretty high ceiling (about 12 feet) so its good and we can smoke in there. |

Yep it is loud as hell but with 7 kids 2 cats that don't get along and a huge 6 month old puppy you don't reall notice the difference. When the boys( 13, 11, 8 and 4yrs old) are skating it it's probably less noisey downstairs |

The 13 year old - sometimes. I don't blame him either if that was my attic and I shared a room with 2 young kids that's where I would sleep. |
