So, I've been playing with board graphics for the past couple months (hand painting my blanks and shit like that) as a way to express my creativity after 5pm and I got so inspired by Sean's book that I decided to contact couple local skate brands to see if they'd let me do a graphic for them...I hooked up with Jeff from Poolside skateboards in Portland and that's what we came up with. I'm pretty stoked with the final result, it's nothing like Sean's art or VCJ but it's a start..plus Poolside decks are sick...rad shapes and killer concaves. The new one with my first graphic will be out soon and will be featured in Concrete wave as well. Thanks Jeff for the opportunity and thanks Sean for the inspiration.

As obvious as it may sound at the present time, make sure to KEEP one in NOS condition for you collection. If I was you and I planned on doing more projects, I'd personally want atleast 1 deck of each one I did. It may just be me though....
Kick ass by the way. Sometimes simply black graphics kick ass, did you have plans on adding color or leaving it black. I need to learn how to do this shit also, I have alot of great ideas, but no drawing talent at all... |

I requested 2 decks...1 to ride and one for the wall. I like the Black and white graphic as well but I think we'll do 2 colors, I'll send you guys the final result. Can't wait to ride this thing. Learn how to use Illustrator, it's the best man.
