Attention skate rats and know-it-alls. I need help. I have a Tom Boyle from H-Street in my posession right now. It's from the late 80's I believe. It was the last deck I bought before my 5 year hiatus. Every where I go nobody has heard of this guy. I always seem to get the "...oh you mean Bod Boyle?" And the answer from me is always the same...no, TOM. Now can someone please tell me that I am not insane and that they have heard of such a pro? Does anyone have any info on this deck or maybe a web link that will solitify my sanity. I need to know that I am not sitting on some thousand dollar one of a kind here.

Homage to the Green Monkey.

Yes there is a Tom Boyle. East coast vert skater from PA. Was a Cheapskates local. Don't know if he's currently riding for anyone or not though.

Yeah yeah. Tom Boyle. He was in Rubbish Heap after the credits. He was on Vallely's short lived company "Transit". I think he's also featured in some Mountain Dew ads in Transworld. Not really sure though about that last one. He's no figment of your imagination.

I saw him skate in Ottawa one time. I thought he was Canadian for some reason.

As for Bod Boyle. I think he works at Giant Distribution now.

Tom rode for airwalk around 96 or so. he also rode for New School or one of there other companies, possibley arsenol I believe. He was born and lived in Butler Pa for a while, which is about 20 minutes from my house. Butler has a shitload of unreal skate spots. worth a road trip in my opinion.

Tom's a friend of mine we used to skate against each other in the old NSA amateur series in the eighties. He went on to turn pro and even beat Tony Hawk once. He had a shoe for Vans for a minute too. Now he's got a killer house in doylestown PA with a huge vert ramp with a skatelite surface in his backyard.

Well alright then. Now I can sleep. As for the person who asked me to post a pic of the one I have...it would be pointless. It was ridden long enough to scrape away almost all of the graphic. Before it was lost though the graphic was of a boy (tied at the the feet?) to a red wooden chair and he had a crayon that he spelled out Tom Boyle with. It was one of those decks when the graphics started going with the 'less is more' kind of graphic. You know, very minimal graphics and not necessarily centered on the deck itself. It is a huge deck though, maybe 10 1/2 X 31. Thanks for all your help fellas, now I may sleep. And if you want a pic even though there is no visible graphic, let me know.

Tom's part in the New School video is great. He even skates a little street.

Isn't he in H Street 'Next' skating to the geto boys? Amazing intro where he looks zoned out and gets onto one of those belt-drive slimming machines
