Great marketing strategy. I ride 92-93a for street so I may give the wheels a shot...someday.
Riding 54mm 92a Ricta chrome core clouds and happy with them. Got some 95a OJ Nomads waiting in cue. |

I've definitely like 92a on Masonite...I wonder if they are still "grippy"? |

Quick review...
I had been previously been riding Powell Oval Dragons which clock in at 90A duro. I still flip my board but I have the O.L.D. disease. For years I've been experimenting with soft wheels that I could still "street skate". This has usually ended up as a chill soft setup and a separate street setup for the few days I felt 20 again aaaaaahahhahahahhahahhah.
These new Dragons feel soft and absorb bad vibes for bad backs, yet still slide and let me do flip tricks without bouncing. Smooth ride. Not too chalky yet not too bouncy. George Powell may have added a few extra good years to my life.

Skated the Dragon Formula at the concrete park today. I haden't skated a bowl in a while...
The 56's in 93a feel faster than the 64 G-Bones in 97a that I normally skate. Doesn't make sense to me, but they are super fast for a softer wheel. Good grip and they lock in great on coping. I thought I would hate the size but I don't even notice it. I don't do a-lot of sliding, but I was able to powerslide without sliding out (common problem for me)...I haven't had them on wood yet, but they'll stay on the board. I can already tell they are better overall than any wheel I've tried. Even if it's a placebo, I was landing tricks today that I hadn't done at that park. |

My buddy let me try them yesterday. They’re good but they don’t seem noticeably better than my 92a Slimeballs.
A lot of people are too young to remember good softer street wheels.
Weird they don’t have a core, I wonder if he was able to vary the durometer from the center to the surface. |
