Indeed. Very sad to hear about it. Apparently the FBI had marked him though its not clear if they let local police know or not.
Really wish you'd make it more difficult to get assault rifles—or outlaw them altogether. |

Nope, full-automatics are illegal in any caliber or configuration. So no assault rifles.
But you can buy 10-round .223 rifles (a very small caliber) which are painted BLACK..and apparently that's what makes them inherently more evil and much more deadly? Imparts evil black magic to the bullets or something.
I don't know how that works, though. |

The ATF has stated this jihadist used legally purchased guns; not "assault weapons".
Now, the FBI might have to explain why they let him off....
