Should clips of Nazi-bands be allowed on SnB?

yes, that's my question.
I've noticed a bunch of white power / neo-nazi clips in the "what are you listening to right now?" - thread, and I know VERY WELL that this doesn't mean right away that you're a Nazi. If you're smart enough not to fall for a far-right ideology and want to listen to it in private, fine.
Still, it baffles me to find that stuff on a skateboarding forum. The forum rules do speak of freedom of speech and its limitations, but in a rather vague way :
"We believe in the freedom of speech here, but with such freedoms come responsibility. Those that cannot behave in a reasonable, acceptable manner will be removed from the forum."
So here's my question because I would like to know the stance of SnB users - do you think that stuff should be allowed on SnB or not??
I'm not taking a stance on this for now - just want to check what your opinion is. |

I'll be straight with this. Imo it doesn't matter witch band you post in case the lyrics of the song itself goes about nazi subjects like "hail blood & hounour", lyrics where they admire individuals suchs as Hess, Hitler, ... or white power related stuff, ... I agree it should be not be posted on here.
If it would be a so called Nazi band as you call it and the lyrics are nationalistic, patriotic or not nazi related it should be definitaly allowed as there's absolutely no problem in it in my opinion. |

| I've posted a clip of 'pulling on the boots' before. Never contemplated that I was promoting Nazi ideas. I have no tolerance for racists. Just like it cause it's fast and reminds me of bitd when romper stomper came out and the skins would scare the shit out of everyone sitting on the town hall steps. |

It is a very grey area indeed.
The people in the second video have no idea about the roots and the connotation surrounding this old SS nazi skinhead chant.

Exactly my thoughts as well and I'll definitely check before posting.
About the Stöveltramp clip to be honest I don't know what it goes about as I don't understand Swedish enough... I know the band is right wing but no clue about the lyrics. Just a badass song imo.
Anyway, if you see something that would go too far let me know or delete the post but as mentioned before I'll check the lyrics as much as I can before I do. |
