You will have to buy a light sensitive photo emulsion and mix with diazo sensitizer in container. then you coat the screen with a thin layer of the emulsion using a emulsion coater or an old squeegee. let it dry. then you burn the screen with a 500-1000 watt halogen light with your film seps. you then washout all the unwanted emulsion with a pressure washer or with a hose or something. let dry. then your ready to print...

this is just the basic idea of it, you can check out other posts on this forum i sure its on here somewhere.
Also a speedball screen printing kit off ebay is a good thing to start with... teaches you all the basics and you get to pull a few prints, thats how i started

i have photoshop and illustrator, but i dont have a cd key for the latter so i cant use it. you really should get photoshop but expect to have to read some tutorials or take a class to be able to really use it, its a huge program. its 700 dollars but you can get it for free from your school (if you still are in it) or you can just be a cheap bastard like me and download it off of kazaa.

surprisingly, photoshop 4 seems to be the best... i got to check out this place called mirror image (HUGE tshirt shop responsible for all sorts of really complex high output shit....has won awards for inventing their own form of simulation process printing in textiles), and that dude swore by photoshop 4! aparently, there is some certain output setting that works better for seps than with any version to follow. and this is a guy who does extremely tight register in printruns of 50,000+ !!! totally crazy

CorelDraw is, IMO, the best vector graphic program out there. On top of that, it integrates raster/bitmap images as well. It's basically Illustrator and Photoshop all in one, although Pshop is much more powerful, with many more/better filters.

If you're gonna use CorelDraw, let me know if you have any questions, I use it daily.
