I've been out of the game for a while. Sucks, but between my personal life, work, and constantly working on my house, I just haven't found much time for my personal art lately.
BUT...
back in may Mr Elguera contacted me about sculpting throwing down one of his famous frontside rocks. PUMP UP!
So here we are 4 months later and I finally found time to have some pics taken of the progress. My buddy at work (Dave Gittleman) is a skate rat from back in the day. In fact he was recently at Woodward shooting some stuff. Being that he is our staff photographer at McFarlane he was pumped to shoot some stuff. We did this while I was working on the sculpt during lunch.
There are some adjustments that I will be making - longer deck, smaller helmet, and some minor changes to the pose. Its a great dynamic piece but it is really gonna be a pain to mount it to the base and retain the integrity of the pose. I've been struggling with it since i started the sculpt.
Anyway I'm glad to be doing one of these again. It'll be finished for El Gato's birthday in November.
