post knee surgery restlessness and digging through a crate of old art work. i thought it was damaged and thrown out with a batch of work from 2001.
charcoal 60" x 48" - had big plans but never finished it. |

thanks fellas. yeah Chip, it was kind of a nice slap in the face to find it. the first two in this photo were definitely thrown out.

| combination of compressed charcoal, vine charcoal, and generals charcoal pencils. Bob's Fine Vine Charcoal is really good - he makes it himself and sells it in big zip lock bags - out of Eugene, Oregon. Paper is a heavy weight BFK Rives - I buy it in 10 yard rolls, works for me. |
