What Tiki said. We have Crawfish boils here pretty regularly. In a big pot....steam a shitload of crawdads (crawfish, crayfish, mudbugs, whatever, all the same) potatoes, cobbed corn, dump the whole pot out on a picnic table covered with newspaper, and fucking chow down. Have some melted butter on hand or some cocktail sauce...those little fuckers are miniature lobster. Don't let one bad experience steer you away. It just has to be done right....Southern Style baby.  |

I had the same feeling about catfish the first time I tried it in GA, tasted like a muddy mess
The crawfish hand roll at Sushi Ran in Sausalito was tasty more than a few times:
tempura soft shell crawfish, shiso, tobiko, avocado, & miso aioli wrapped in nori |
