I wouldn't think the original 14 would be too pissed. If i remember right the price was pretty fair for such a short run of decks.
Now the people who bought them after being resold a couple times...
They might be bummed.
Or were you thinking about the number available not the $$? |

more or less the dudes who paid up plenty for them, to see it, at this point "reissued".
i know the whole debate for reissues, but i think this would be slightly different. |

yeah I've seen some of those go for big money.
If they reissued them I'd probably get one. That's saying a lot since I only own one reissue.  |

I recall one going for about $1500 here last year. That was the asking price anyway. |

I'm sure if they reissue this deck, it would be extremely limited and signed by Hosoi.
It wouldn't be like the Jason Jessee, Roskopp, and Kendall reissues which flooded the hell out of the market.
Then again, I could be wrong. I just skate. |

1. if people get pissed at an official issue(since it was never made in reality in the first place) the official issue, endorsed by the artist and the rider is the real one. The previous versions are well imitations.
2. That sucks because I got the feeling the 14 first made where pretty nice and maybe better then any larger scale production.
3. Maybe they'll use the wrong shape or a modern one much like a Black Flag reason to live on a Roskopp reissue deck?
4. The first is always the best. People should relize that and though not a endoresed run those 14 are the originals, anything else is a copy in my book. |
