@ sXm:
Man they had their matchy matchy dialed in!
Pretty cool to see the (respectively) Roth-pushead-Staab-WTF?-Tostenson parallels/ripoffs in design.
What exactly does that butterfly board say? |

Never seen the Speed Demon before. I had this Speed Freak- sold to another member on the site.
Kind of cool that they re-did the graphic instead of just shrinking it. |

What's the story on these brands? Remember, I didn't grow up skating so the history is all new to me. Were they that bad or just dissed and ignored by "real" skaters because none of the pros were riding them in competition?
Valtera Dragon I might have my eye on.
Absolut garbage. |

Jones had more than one Variflex?
That wasn't the one I was "Jones-in" for as a kid, thanks for posting that anyway, chall5. The one I was thinking of had a nuke cloud on it or something. I'm sure the graphic blew my mind as a kid, I'd probably think it was pretty ghay now. Someone posted it a few years back... |

Garbage? oh noes!!
Then again, variety is the spice of life. I got that Dragon for $25 bucks this morning too. At least it doesn't have plastic trucks and wheels like the Skate Zombie. I couldn't even push that thing around unless I put a legitimate setup on it. Display only I guess.
Wait'll that Dragon comes in, gets stripped and pimped. Coolness. ha!! |

Gotta stop shelacking boards man A shelacked variflex/nash, couldn't think of a more worthless board. Generally shelacking boards dumps the value right in the trash. But whatevs, do what you gotta do. |

Something like "a super high-tech construction of the best yaadayadayada"...I hate that graphic...the top is super rad with the red griptape (which is actually super slippery and not grippy at all). |
