First runs today and it works real well w/the park I'm riding. The pic was taken this afternoon. The old powells are fast and work great on the carve grinds. I already like this more than my 36" comet, my 43" lib and just about everything else...

That's a cool looking deck Billy.. How's that bowl compare to the bowl we rode in Milwaukee?

7' deep all around, L-shape, steel pipe coping. Its a fun bowl once you learn how to keep your speed. It used to be super slippery but has gotten grippier w/age. Heck - its a mile from my doorstep and the owner lets me skate it for free. Not bad when there's 2 feet of snow on the ground. |

I had the Alva "38 Special" and it was too much for cruising around. I really like the Caddy though, perfect size. |

We just got the bandaid deck in today... SICK! Will have to do a side-by-side with a Numbchuck to see the major diff's (dimension-wise). |

I had it out all day Sunday and its a carving machine. The added w/b plus the wide wheels (97a) I have on there give it a secure grip even on the dusty masonite. I'm real comfortable pushing it through frontside carves. Next session I'll have a wedged riser up front. We'll see how that goes.
Mark is that a screen or a heat transfer on this board? I can't tell the difference and hardly care but inquiring minds want to know. |

Pretty sure it's shrink. It just begs for some red rails (Black Label or Powell).
Sweet, sweet deck... I hope it doesn't get "misplaced" before getting put into inventory. |

Sorry..the caddy is long gone from my quiver. I never did get used to the rounded tail and the steep concave, but it was a fun ride....just not a setup that I could get into.
From Bill's pics, it seemslike the band aid Alva deck is killer. Squarer tail, less concave. I am thinking about getting one from one from Mark at milehighskates.com when they become available
