There's this place in my hometown thats been there forever. They had the best pizza. If you dined in they had a Mighty Wurlitzer Pipe Organ with all the crazy pipe organ instruments on/in the walls. They had a big model train that went around the rafters. And if you took it to go the pizza was on a piece of cardboard covered with foil.

but more importantly the pizza was delicious. 3" of toppings the best sauce from a family recipe handed down over the generations. The smell of the pizza is one i savor from my childhood.

and now for why I'm posting this in the worst pizza thread. About 11 years ago the original owners sold the business to some middle eastern family. They started using canned shit sauce and funky cheap ingredients. I went there reluctantly for a birthday thing and this pizza isnt only the worst, ive ever had but i'm willing to wager that its the worst pizza ever made.

Imagine ketchup on a saltine cracker with raw slices of peperoni and raw bell peppers that had been heated up just enough to melt the cheddar cheese.

so bad. now they've lost the lease on what was probably the only thing getting them business, the old building with the pipe organ and choo choo train. They've tried to reopen in a new location but it looks like a hospital room with picnic tables and an out of place pipe organ. It just totally sucks now.

They not only have the crappiest pizza but they bastardized a town landmark.

Bella Roma just always had that old school Pizza Parlor, Happy Days first date with the cheerleader kind of vibe.

Now its got stark white walls and sells Lunchables pizza.
