You think so? I was there recently and felt it was a bit lacking. Now, granted, that was the first time I've ever left disappointed. |

yeah - more consistant product; agreed that part of the "charm" is gone, but, especially the biscuits - @ the end there, they were coming out half baked, most of the menu is well executed...more $, but oh well
ate there the last weekend of the "old" store - the bathroom was so rotted out that the toilet was about to go through the floor.
good to se you're around Tom - hope you & Liz are well!

I was up there again last weekend on a quick run-in with my dad, and we hit the Loveless for breakfast as it's a tradition.
I gotta say I wasn't feeling it once again. The biscuits and jams were excellent as always, but, the ham was dry as a bone, the red-eye gravy was straight up coffee, the eggs were obviously pre-cooked and the grits were instant.
My dad says the new barbecue pit they have is pretty good.
I haven't crossed it off my list...yet.
