has anyone had any experience with plywood UNDER the skatelite doing some weird things on your ramp? The reason I ask, when I layered the skatelite on my ramp, all the seams were tight. Now 2 years later they are starting to get small gaps. All of the crossmembers are 4 ft long at 6" centers on a 20 ft wide ramp, and we have 2 layers of 3/8 ply painted on both sides under the skatelite. so that's a total of 1"
It almost looks like the skatelite is shrinking. any thoughts? thanks.

Not really a big deal unless you really mind the gaps.
All the ramps, bowls here are constructed the same way but now have little ridges at the seems of the skatelite instead of gaps.
The wood frame or substructure is probably what is giving you the gaps, it's going to shrink and expand as time goes on depending on the weather.
Plywood is usually pretty sound when it comes to shrinking or growing but it is still an organic material(most of it) so it too will give over time.
As far as skatelite shrinking, not really sure if that happens.?.?.?
