When I order shirts to be screen printed, they come and the ink sticks out a little bit.
I want to do my own shirts but how do I get the ink to do this and not lay flat like on a deck? |

I'm not quite sure what you're asking. Do you mean the ink is raised off the shirt? The main thing is you have to look at the kind of ink you're using. T shirts should ALWAYS be printed using Plastisol ink. You can use other stuff, but it will never look as good. For the most part, Plastisol will sit on top of the shirt rather than soak in like water based inks do.
I hope I could help. |

Yeah, I just woke up and wasn't thinking well yet. A few hours after I posted that i relized it was Plastisol ink that does that. Thanks for the help though, you confirmed my theory. |
