This is insane mustard. I like hot, and didn't give much thought to this being any hotter than any previous hot mustard selections. It made the top of my head sweat and brought my sinuses to a full boil. Highly recommended. |

Its like Frenchs in consistency and appearance, but with intense horseradish additives. Not a hot pepper-hot, but the aromatic hot you get with horseradish. You can huff it to get the effect, too. Its nothing like the chinese hot mustard. I bought it at Hapanowicz Brothers in New York Mills, NY. Its sold online here (http://www.riverratcheese.com), in bulk ($59 for 6 jars), or in the $49 "lumberjack combo" gift selection. Or you can call them and see what they can do for a 1 jar purchase.
I love horseradish mustard, which is why I bought it. But my favorite is Mister Mustard, which is also damn hot, but not sociopath-hot. Great on hot dogs.
Another good one is Weber's mustard ... anyone from Buffalo could tell you about Weber's. Probably the mellowest of the bunch and a great upgrade from French's.
