Just wondering what the general price difference is between restored (provided the work is well-done) and skated decks? I know they don't approach NOS prices, but what type of increase in value has anyone seen?
Thanks! |

depends. some people hate them. I rather like a restore, as long as it looks good. I hope people continue to hate them as it makes costly boards affordable. I just hate people who try to sell an obvious restore as not one. I would geuss this is why a lot of people don't like them, because if it's good it's hard to tell the difference and when you pay 1g for an mint board and 200 for a restore and they both look as good, you'll feel bad for spending 1g.

really depends on the restore. if you feel proud displaying it, then its worth the time and effort you put it. I think restores are worth more than repros if you make the restore look as good as a repro. |
