Hey guys whats up? I have a question regarding the healing of tattoos, basically what method do you recommend for healing? I've tried various ones and I'm still unsure of certain things that can be good/bad for my skin. Also what do you think about products such as tattoo goo, yay or nay? Thanks for your time!! |

I got a tube of vitamin A & D ointment when I got a tat and it seemed to work well. |

keep it covered for a while, and don't use any kind of anitbiotic cream. A&D works good, or plain lotion.
DO NOT PICK AT THE LOOSE PIECES as it heals either.

I used Bacitrasin Zink Ointment for the first week or so, and it worked well for me. Kept it from scabbing up. Then i used lotion to keep it from drying out. No problems. |

Ive used the Bactrin and not used it. When you get a fresh one, leave the bandage on it for at least 12 hrs., stuff seeps out for awhile after you get it. After you take off the bandage, shower and with your fingertips lightly clean the area. After you get out of the shower rub an icecube over the area (closes the pores up real good). I then use Bactrin for 3 days and switch to lotion. This method has always yeilded brighter, more vivid colors than not using the Bactrin. Good Luck!! |
