This may seem like pre-school stuff for you guys but for me its freaking great. I went out tonight and bought a Speedball kit ($50.00) and thought I was totally wasting my money. Got home and cleaned the screen, mixed the emulsion up, taped my screen and gave it a coat. I went to Kinkos and got a transparency of my graphic printed up. Got back home and made sure the emulsion was dry and set everything up. You've got to remember, I have never done anything like this before. I exposed the image for 45 mins. under a 150 watt photography bulb, took it to the bathroom and washed it out under the shower head. I almost crapped my pants when I saw my image appear, made my freakin' hellish week so much better. I havent printed it yet but I cant wait. This did spur a question though... Whats the best kind of tape to use around the edges? Mine isnt sticking so well. |

Are you talking about tape around the outside to hold the screen on? If so, there is screen tape available at art supply stores. Personally, I just use Duct tape and staples. I also duct tape the inside, around the edge of the frame to keep the ink from running under between the screen and frame. Makes for easy cleanup.
